The Mission of The Turo Foundation is to aid individuals and their communities by supporting them as they strive to lessen the impact of poverty, educate their children, create healthy enviornments with clean water and access to medical services and supplies, and to empower them as they work to uphold the dignity of life from natural birth to natural death.
We are a family foundation that helps people and their communities become empowered to better themselves and their world. We provide funds and other resources to local non-profits that are doing important work in many communities in our local area and around the globe. In addition to supporting efforts here in the Carlisle area, we have been able to assist forgotten communities, like Kuande, in Benin Africa.
From saving and distributing excess medical supplies, providing funds for educational institutions, placing wells in Kuande to provide clean potable water, to nurturing libraries and local charities we strive to provide support and funding where it is needed most.
